Good day GACA Family,
Today we want to tell you a story. A true story. The story of a man named Atem Alfred Tabi from Cameroon.
For twenty six years this man has walked into a classroom.
Twenty six years of teaching. Twenty six years of shaping minds. Twenty six years of pouring everything he has into the children in front of him.
And here is the part that will break your heart and lift it at the same time.
For most of those twenty six years he was not paid.
Let that sink in.
While the world chased money, status and comfort, Atem Alfred Tabi chose something far greater. He chose the children. He chose education. He chose to give his life to teaching languages and opening doors for young people who had no one else to believe in them.
No salary. No recognition. No applause. Just an unshakable belief that every child deserves a chance, and a willingness to sacrifice his own comfort to give it to them.
Twenty six years.
How many of us could do that? How many of us would show up day after day, year after year, decade after decade, for no reward but the knowledge that we are changing lives?
This is who Atem Alfred Tabi is. And this is exactly the kind of person the Global Ambassadors of Change exists to find, to honour and to celebrate.
The world may not have paid him in money. But history will pay him in legacy. Because somewhere in Cameroon today there are men and women who can read, write, speak and dream because one man refused to give up on them.
Atem Alfred Tabi, we see you. We honour you. And on behalf of every life you have touched, we say thank you.
You are not just a member of this family. You are the very reason this family exists.
This is what real change looks like. This is what a real Ambassador of Change looks like.
